By creating an account or using any part of the KeepSplit service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, that you have read and agree to these Terms, and that you have read our Privacy Policy. If you are using KeepSplit on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

KeepSplit is an expense-tracking and bill-splitting application for groups. It allows users to:

• Create and manage groups for shared expenses
• Log, categorize, and split expenses among group members
• Track balances and record settlements
• Receive notifications about group activity

KeepSplit is a tool to help coordinate shared finances. We do not process or transfer actual payments between users.

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically copy content from the service
• Use the service for any fraudulent or deceptive purpose
• Impersonate any person or entity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these prohibitions.

KeepSplit and all of its content, features, and functionality — including the software, design, logos, and trademarks — are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use KeepSplit for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our service or software.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of KeepSplit shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the jurisdiction where KeepSplit is registered, unless prohibited by local law. You waive any right to a jury trial or class-action lawsuit to the extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email, and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of KeepSplit after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the service and delete your account.
